Washington University in St. Louis. Playwright and actress for over 25 years in community theater. Winner of best actress, best ensemble, and best play in The Missouri Association of Community Theater in 2001, 2003, 2004, and 2005.
Author of “I Have Not Picked Up My Dinosaurs Yet Today,” a series of dramatic readings about her own struggle with depression and chronic anxiety.
Collins E. Lewis, M.D.
Associate Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, Department of Psychiatry, Washington University School of Medicine; Psychiatric Consultant at the Veterans Administration Hospital in St. Louis. He serves as liaison between Slaying Dragons and the professional mental health community.
Lesley Paterson RN, MSN
Vice President of Nursing and Health Services, Acute Care Hospital, responsible for oversight of Nursing Department and Food and Nutrition: patient care, regulatory compliance, quality standards compliance, operating budgets, capital budget.
Joseph Yancey, MPPA
CEO of Places for People, a community-based mental health center in the urban core of St. Louis providing evidence-based services to address both behavioral and physical health for those in our community with significant health issues. A member of the board of directors for Slaying Dragons and an ardent supporter of their mission.
Dr. Arturo Taca
Dr. Taca is a psychiatrist affiliated with multiple hospitals in the St. Louis area, including Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital and Mercy Hospital St. Louis. He received his medical degree from University of the East College of Medicine and has been in practice for almost 20 years.
